First series Trimaster lost his series T_T
Second Series drewbie (T) vs gatored (P)
Game 1 Not cast, Drewbie won
Game 2 Close by air spawn on Metalopolis
Gas steal by Gatored. Drewbie opens 2 rax followed by quick factory.
Drewbie does early poke at the ramp but Gatored has plenty of Sentries. Drewbie retreats and build bunker while starport is finishing.
Gatored comes out to harass while taking his natural but drewbie is secure. Gatored knows drop is likely, it is drewbie after all, so pulls back main army. But isn't fast enough to prevent drewbie from sniping a pylon and 2-3 warped in zealots before running away.
Drewbie masses up a bit while starting his natural and then does another push, gets good positioning, I think some of gatored's army was out of position expecting a drop. So drewbie takes down whole army and snipes NExus, Gatored forced to GG.
Series 3 Minigun vs ostojiy
Game 1 Minigun opens strong gets stargate, establishes strong economic lead. But seems totally confused. I wonder if maybe he was sick or something when he played that game.
He went turtle Stargate with a delayed hard second push with Air , but way over commited.
His initial plan seemed to be solid, he got a clear advantage, but then threw away every component of his advantage.
He was forced to GG.
Game 2 Xel Naga
Minigun going for 3 gate expo.
Gets robo for obs then gets twilight & starts blink. Spire has been started. Also roaches.
Minigun moved out with stalkers and sentries but Ostojy got nice backtab attack and sniped natural nexus.
Muta & Roach out, roaches have tunnling and speed. Minigun doesn't remake his natural.
Minigun tries attack but massed spines delay him and roach muta army comes back and he has to pull back.
Mini finally remakes his natural, but Zerg has 3 bases up with 4th at gold on the way.
They trade armies & Minigun snipes the 3rd, but Ostojiy has almost twice the supply. Minigun GG.
The 2v2 up next, Drewbie/Catz vs Gatored/Kyhol
Game 1 Map Discord IV
Catz opens speedlings, drewbie doing proxy factor with proxy Starport next to it.
Team gosu turtling with tanks siege tech. They have Immortal Marine sentry.
Double banshees with cloak incoming. They do a bit of damage, but it is pretty well defended. CAtz has Infestors coming out.
But Obs following the Infestors. So they go down.
compLexity contained for a while and they scout Catz's ninja expo.
Gosu takes down ninja expo. But Catz rebuilds it after they leave and they don't rescout. Drewbie also takes ninja expo.
Catz had 4 zealot/changlings just chilling forever on the containment siege line. Drewbie & catz push out the siege line.
Both sides take golds, though the Gosu team takes gold first compLexity had nija expos before either team got gold.
Drewbie drops do some critical damage.
Nukes building for Gosu. Thunder being called down on Catz gold! Nuke is coming and Catz moves Broodlords into the nuke killzone, I was yelling NOOOOOO. But ghost is killed near the last minute so nuke doesn't land.
compLexity has big macro advantage & just sit back and get more ahead. Gosu tries one last push and then GG.
Game 2 Map High Orbit
Gosu turtling again, Drewbie doing proxy rax with tech lab, fast speedling from Catz.
Catz & drewbie takes down rocks on side of their main ledge.
Marauder & lings from compLexity. Start pressuring main after rock entrance defended.
Gosu is defending well. But maruaders keep killing buildings in the wall. Catz takes gold.
But the massed sentries plus few marines in bunkers proves to strong. compLexity forced to GG.
Wow, I'll have to try sentry into stalker with terran ally going bunker marine into siege tanks.
Game 3 Scorched Haven
Gosu opens defensive again, joint wall at bottom of ramps Forge before Gate. Cannons are in forward position. Wow! Gosu is getting fast natural.
compLexity opens Speedlings & banshee
LOL djWHEAT jokes about it is a NR 15 or something cause both sides taking their naturals.
Banshee out cloak on the way, no medivacs yet.
This is funny game, Drewbies banshees have bad karma, no matter what they do they are getting killed.
Infestors coming out for catz.
Banshee & phoenix from gosu.
Tanks marine infestor speedling from compLexity.
Catz has hive and spire up and 3 bases drewbie two bases.
Gosu tries to take both golds. Drewbie shells one side of gold, forcing CC away while catz runs in to their base with speedlings.
Broodlords taking out Gold Nexus
compLexity again has macro edge, massed Broodlords and Vikings with siege tanks and infestors for support.
Big battle in the middle, Catz hangs on to most of his broodlords, LOTS of broodlords.
Remass armies then another big battle in middle, Gosu forced to GG
compLexity takes 2v2 series 2-1
Ace match next Drewbie (T) vs HwasgSin (P) cross spawns on Shakurus
Reaper expo for drewbie, think it was 1 gate expo for Toss (not sure IRL got in the way)
Lots like massed gateway, lots of sentys out, lots of upgrades & 2nd forge from Toss. Also Charge on the way.
Drewbie bio plus ghost tech. Factory
Zealot Sentry and some archons. +2 armor +3 attack
Despite good EMP Drewbie forced to GG.
Game 2 Bottom spawns on Tal'Darim Altar not version with low ground around edge of mains for reaper to hop on.
Drewbie reaper again with fast expo
Toss 3 gate sentry stalker expo. reaper scouts expo timing.
Bunkers go up
stalker sentry push going out
decides to push even though 2 bunkers up, 3rd almost done, lots of marauders.
3 more gates warping in.
Drewbie adds couple more rqax & a factory.
HwangSin keeps pressure up, looks like lot of korean ladder play, no end game plan? Drewbie's defense was strong enough for first push and is only getting stronger.
Twilight on the way. But drewbie is up 20ish supply. drewbie is poking at the front while taking a3rd.
First fight is a wash, but drewbie repositions to attack from two angles and HwangSin forced to GG.
Game 3 Xel Naga
Drewbie is going Banshee. HwangSin doing his warpgate + Robo.
Immortals being made.
Drewbie harassing with pair of banshees. Marine tank at drewbies main with siege tech on the way.
Drewbie pushes all in with 4 banshees marine tank and several scv's, throwing bunkers down. Warp prism used to drop pair of Immortals on seiged tanks.
But Toss holds it off, think the Immortal drop on tanks the key. Drewbie tries second push for honor, but forced to GG.
Gosu takes the Match. T_T
