Magic Users in 2v2: Ghost+Mothership vs Infestor + High Templar etc

Watching Kings Of Tin the other night with Catz, djWHEAT, & WackStevens playing 3v3 I saw Catz trying to get WHEAT & Wack combine Fungal then storm!

Looked really strong & actually something that would be playable in 2v2 or 3v3.  They also did a Vortex & Catz fires bracket of Nukes either side of Vortex, Catz was playing random & rolled Terran for his race.

Which was cool!  But I'm not so sure if that would be viable in games with roughly equal teams (skill level).

I think at pro level Ghost + Sentry could be useful. 

Another idea take 2-3 Ravens + 4ish Overseers.  Auto Turret the mineral line, with the Durable Materials upgrade they last for 240 seconds (4 Minutes!) vs the base 180 seconds, then Contaminate the CC/Hatch/Nexus continually.

Would provide a solid economic harass for a turtle + tech strat on shared ramp maps.  If you want to get real cute you could even call down Mule to repair or follow up with Nydus.

Anyone tried any of these?  Any replays?  Any other good ideas?
