I have always been a fan of Robinson Crusoe or Swiss Family Robinson stories. And I would place "The Day of the Triffids" as a Science Fiction version of those stories.
I first read Triffids in junior high school, and have seen the previous movie versions of the story, it was so bad it was good. Supposedly at least some of the actors were rewriting their own lines since the script was so bad.
I would really like to see a game tie in with this movie.
