It still looks like just EU accounts that were hacked, as far as anyone knows so far, but at times like this I like to mention on of my favorite Tom Clancy quotes, a Submarine Skipper in a Clancy novel said to hemself, "I know I am paranoid, but am I paranoid enough?"

I am starting to think, with all the different places that have had password issues in the last week or two, it might be a good idea to change any of your important passwords, or at the very least, make sure your not using the same password on more than one account.

It now also welcomes the title League of Legends with a first LAN tournament that will take place from June 15th to June 17th on Cal Poly Pomona's campus (South California). One shall notice it is about 30 minutes away from Anaheim where MLG and Blizzard World Championship Series (USA Nationals) shall take place only a week before.

IG League of Legends Open #1

I am not into LoL, at least yet, but my friends at It's Gosu are starting a LoL Open Tournament sponsored by TwitchTV.

Redmagejr will be Casting with Four Court Jester.

Redmagejr is one of my favorite Casters, I think the casting team of Redmagejr & Ayesee are the best casting team for 2v2 in Starcraft 2, I look forward to seeing him cast with Four Court Jester for this LoL Tournament.

It’s Gosu League of Legends event sponsored by Twitch.TV are open to 128 teams on the North American server.   All teams must adhere to all rules and regulations listed in the tournament rules outline. 
This is a two (2) day event. The brackets will be played to the semi-final round and the semi and final rounds will be played on February 18 with a start time of 2pm EST.
Schedule
Check-in Open: Friday, Feb 16th [17th], 2012 from 03:00PM - 11:59PM EST (12:00PM -  8:59PM PST)
*check-in tab will appear on the specified date and time
Tournament Start: Friday, Feb 17th, 2012 @ 6:00PM EST (3:00PM PST)

Semi/Final: Saturday, Feb 18th, 2012 @ 2:00PM EST (11:00AM PST)

Game Rules

• Game type: Custom, Tournament Draft
• Teams: 5v5
• Champs & items: All are allowed
• Bans: 6 total (3 per team)
• Best of 3
• No mirror picks allowed
•  Both teams must have a complete team present (5 members) in the Custom game lobby within 15 minutes of the invitation. If a team does not have all members they will forfeit the first match. If the team is still absent at 30 minutes the round is forfeit and the team is disqualified.
• Match results page MUST be screenshoted and posted on the tournament page. Delay or failure to do so may result in forfeit of the round.
• Format
  Round of 128:                 Best of 1
  Round of 64:                   Best of 1
  Round of 32 to Finals:     Best of 3
  
  Prizes
  1st place: $500 USD Team Prize and $20 RP + Triumphant Ryze + Champion  Skin Bundle (whatever the next release will be) per player
  2nd place: $15 RP + Champion Skin Bundle per player
  3rd place: $10 RP + Champion Skin Bundle per player
  4th place: $10 RP per player
  
  RP= Riot Points
  
  Cash prizes will be issued to the Team Captain via Paypal. Riot prizes will be distributed to players directly, substitutes may receive prizes if deemed by Team Captain otherwise prize portion will be held by It's Gosu and/or Riot.
