http://www.anandtech.com/show/6526/capsule-review-thermaltake-level-10-m-gaming-mouse
I am a bit interested, still not convinced high end mice are any better than normal mouse.
But I used to feel that way about keyboards, before I got my DAS Silent.
This mouse is $99 and isn't right hand biased, which is important to me, since I primarily use my left hand for mouse.
I do switch to right hand for some things.
Also when doing mouse intense stuff all day long, I tend to flip between right and left hands on regular basis to avoid fatigue.
But then I have practiced more than just mouse stuff with both hands, in large part of because of my martial arts & weight lifting, try to have equal strength and skill on right and left side of my body.

Nerd Gear: Anandtech reviews 2 Rosewill Keyboards
http://www.anandtech.com/show/6475/capsule-review-rosewills-illuminated-keyboard-and-rk9000bri-keyboard
I suggest close reading of the last section of that review, where they talk about the differences between Cherry Switches.
I also suggest this from Das on differences between switches http://www.daskeyboard.com/blog/?page_id=1458#keyswitches
Full disclosure, I use & love, a Das Silent, which should have Cherry MX Brown switches on it, though I haven't removed key caps for cleaning yet (what can I say, I would rather game than clean).
I do a lot of typing and more than a little gaming.
I do plan to buy a few different mechanical keyboards to test out various switches, as my budget allows, to compare on a personal level the differences.
I want to have a mechanical spare keyboard, instead of the bluetooth spares I rely on currently.
Plus my girlfriend wants a better keyboard, and she isn't as picky as me, so any extra mechanical keyboard can always be donated to her.

Nerd News: Das Keyboard sponsors ROOT Gaming!
This is cool to me, I am a ROOT fanboy and a Das fanboy!
TL thread with announcement http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=377878
Links to my blog posts about my Das Keyboard, that I love http://cliffsesportcorner.blogspot.com/2012/01/nerd-news-got-my-das-keyboard-today.html
As some of my readers know, I have lot of joint pain issues, already have arthritis so bad I have prescription pain medication.
The Das keyboard has greatly eased my pain issues with my hands, wish I would have got a Das years ago.
Also wish I could find something that helped my knees and ankles as much as Das helps my hands.

Mechanical USB Keyboard that switches via Bluetooth to Smartphone or Tablet, & maybe Laptops?
Update/correction 7/31/12 Thanks to anonymous poster comment.
The Matias One Keyboard (Standard $99) is a dome switch keyboard, I thought at that price it would be mechanical.
The Matias Tactile One Keyboard ($199) is the mechanical keyboard, the mechanical one is not yet available, but the dome switch keyboard is currently available.
*********
Last year I was looking for a keyboard that would let me switch between desktop and laptop at home, so I didn't have to use little keyboard on my 13" ASUS lapptop when I was at home.
Nothing existed that I could find.
So I was pretty excited when I stumbled across the Matias One Keyboard, available in both PC & Mac versions, it is marketed at iPhone users, but it works via Bluetooth and will work with Android, Blackberry, etc smartphones, I think it would work with Laptops that support Bluetooth Keyboards as well.
It should certainly work with an iPad.
Note it doesn't charge your smartphone, but does provide a dock/cradle to hold it on the keyboard.
The Matias One Keyboard is a dome switch keyboard, but the will have a mechanical keyboard with the Bluetooth switch, that will be called the Matias Tactile One, that will use Alphs keys and not the Cherry, I am not a keybaord expert, but from what I understand Alphs are good, and Alphs vs Cherry is pretty much a Honda vs Toyota difference.
Fanboys will argue one is better, but in reality it is more a question of slight tradeoffs AFAIK.
I have a Das keyboard that I love, wish I would have spent the money on a Das years ago, they are worth it for people that spend a lot of time gaming or working on a computer.
But I am putting thisMatias One Keyboard Matias Tactile One on wish list to get for my girlfriend, she spends all day working on computer, but she also has an iPad and we are getting her an iPhone for Xmas, and this would give her a quality Mechanical keyboard that could double as full size keyboard for her iOS devices when needed/wanted.
Though I will have to test it out of course! Quality Control.

to Amazon for the Matias One Keyboard (NOTE: the Matias One keyboard that is available now is a Dome Switch model, the Mechanical Matias Tactile One is not available), I am a Amazon Associate, so I will get a small amount of money from Amazon if you buy from that link, doesn't affect the buyers price.

Nerd News: Got my Das keyboard today, learned difference between Professional & Ultimate
The Ultimate has blank keys.
Just heads up for others like me that didn't know that.
http://www.daskeyboard.com/model-s-ultimate-silent/
I bought from Amazon and didn't see that in description, not big issue for me, except for when I need to do some blog stuff, like certain types of editing & etc. Because I don't have my hands on the home row then.
Oddly enough looking down at the keyboard helps then, maybe pattern recognition or something?
The Das keyboard is a huge improvement though over the cheap one for my hands, lot easier on my fingers, and I have hand/finger problems.
Pretty sure after a few days to get used to the key layout will be able to do more with less pain than I could with old cheap keyboards.
GL HF,
~Cliff
