iOS vs Android for Console Gaming?

I tweeted about the Ouya Kickstarter project a few days ago, it is a Android based Console.

Today I saw the Gamedock for iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, another Kickstarter project.


If the Gamedock makes it into production I will probably get one for my girlfriend, she is into Retro Gaming, came real close to getting her an iCade last Xmas, got her a Jawbone Jambox instead.

According to this story on TechSpot, while Nintendo will be shipping a new platform later this year, there appears to be no plans for Microsoft or Sony to do so.

I haven't had time to research this yet, and I am a totally PC gamer, but I have friends that use consoles, so if anyone has more information please share.

We reported that Microsoft was taking away your right to sue the company in the latest Xbox 360 update by forcing gamers into neutral arbitration, while also blocking consumers from joining class-action lawsuits... unless they opted out of the clause by mailing a letter to Microsoft. It seems this isn't actually the case, as Microsoft has told Kotaku that you can't opt out: you need to give up these rights if you'd like to continue using your Xbox 360.
