HSM Easter 2012: Boyostarcraft

Boyostarcraft is in the Holiday Show Match (HSM) Easter 2012, click link for more information on the showmatch, but this Blog post is about Boyo.

Boyostarcraft is a top level GM NA Protoss player, he is a member of Team Epidemic, formally eP (Eternal Plague), though not widely know among fans yet, he is certainly known to many of the Pro Gamers.

I have seen him on Thundertoss' Top 200 KOTH a few times.  Thunders' Top 200 is a King of the Hill format for Top 200 GM's.

Lately, Boyo has been practicing with Team EG (Evil Geniuses), he practiced with Desrow before Desrow went to Korea.

This is a ZvP game, Boyo is part of Clan eP, he is a top NA GM Protoss.  I have been a fan of Boyo for some time now, and glad to seem him get better well known!

Destiny of course has been part of Quantic Gaming for a while now, which really seems to have been a good move for Destiny.  He seems to have had more and better practice opportunities with Quantic, he was in Korea for a while, and came very close to beating Violet in The Rundown a few weeks ago.

The Rundown is a weekly 8 player invitational cup with top players from as many different teams and countries as possible. The Rundown is about facilitating the rising stars in SC2 and bring exposure to those teams and players that may not have 10,000 twitter followers. The Rundown is different. It is not just a competition of top skill but also a show with an 'edge' to it.

Who:  Starting off with eP Open 6th & 7th Finalists will be invited to a separate show matches of a best of 7

When:  First show match will take place on the week of January 8th.

Description & Details:

Clan Eternal Plague is hosting a series of show matches within the clan eP Open finalists of the 6th and 7th tournament and will continue on to face another player of their choice. The show matches will be hosted by Team LxG's NanMan (link in it's belonging section). The show matches will be hosted by ToLiveOrDie who has also hosted 6 Clan eP opens so far. We will invite the eP Open finalists to the next show match starting with eP open 6th & 7th finalists where we will invite them to a separate show match best of 7 the day after the eP open, if a finalist fails to attend the show match the opportunity will be awarded to the next player in line. If that can't happen a member of the clan Eternal Plague will be able to play in it, such as players as Boyo, Styx, Jager, PhiliBiRD, Pit, JakeBake, Catechin and so on.
